The shirt is a cotton/linen blend. The blackwork on the collar (and sleeves, which aren't in the scan) is copied from a contemporary picture of a servant of Henry VIII in his livery.
The doublet is a black crepe with silver flowers embroidered on it, and silver rose trim sewn on. Yes, for Amber fans, my brother is Corwin. Does that make me Deirdre? (Grin!) Accenting the puffs are rhinestone buttons. He's shiny!
